Wimbledon oozes style. As calendar events go, Wimbledon is style royalty: a kaleidoscope of chic elegance, debonair sophistication and raffish charm; a hand-sewn haven of suede loafers, unstructured blazers and silk ties (and that’s before we’ve even mentioned the sunglasses).
Of course, this year could be said to have been a greater style celebration than ever before: such was The Championships’ triumph in staging the full event in all its historic glory. The AELTC may have seen a smaller footfall than it’s used to; but there was certainly no shortage of suave style ensembles. If anything, the gentlemen who made their way to SW19 this year arguably pulled the stops out more than ever before. And for those of you looking to emulate the unique Wimbledon style, we’ve rounded up our favourite looks from the past two weeks…

We’re kicking things off with a timeless, classic look: the two-piece suit. It’s the perfect look for Wimbledon — namely, a timeless, classic event — and there were many gentlemen who sported the effortlessly elegant two-piece aesthetic in indubitable style. Oliver Cheshire, for one: the model was adorned with a chic, off-white hopsack double-breasted suit courtesy of Jack Davison Bespoke, together with the brand’s chambray shirt: and he looked every inch the gentleman.
Eddie Redmayne

Eddie Redmayne, too — an English gentleman, if ever there was one — appeared at The Championships in a two-piece suit: and a very stylish, seasonal look it was, too. Opting for a cream woollen suit, courtesy of Ralph Lauren Purple Label, his traditionally elegant (and, indeed, elegantly traditional) look was perfectly suited to the occasion.
Damson Idris

Presumably, you’re fed up with people hearing about how terrible the weather’s been recently; how this has surely been the worst July on record; and how it was a miracle that Wimbledon managed to go ahead at all, given the frequent downpours and perpetually hovering grey clouds.
However: even if it had bucketed it down, Damson Idris’ ensemble would have been the burst of sunshine everyone needed. His orange denim jeans, courtesy of Ralph Lauren Purple Label, were a splash of colour amidst the grey skies; his Polo Ralph Lauren green silk tie and striped shirt added further jubilation to an already joyful get-up; and his Glenplaid Blazer (Polo Ralph Lauren) was the perfect foil to such a colourful aesthetic.
Oliver Proudlock

Oliver Proudlock, too, brought a jubilant splash of colour to the proceedings: in this instance, bright blue was the name of the game. He opted for a bespoke tailored three-piece suit, courtesy of Joshua Kane: and what a suit it was. Sleek, sophisticated and with more than hint of roguish charm, it was a celebratory suit for a celebratory day.
Kingsley Ben-Adir
You may be thinking, by now, that Ralph Lauren is a name that seems to keep popping up. You wouldn’t be wrong — but it’s hardly surprising, after all, given the brand’s longstanding connection with The Championships. We’re talking BBGs on-court outfits, for one thing, not to mention the Ralph Lauren x Apparel range. But polo shirts weren’t the only clothing items representing the brand: the stripes were out in full force, and extremely dapper they were too.
Take Kingsley Ben-Adir’s distinctly dapper look, for example: the Peaky Blinders star sported a Brown Linen Pinstripe Suit, paired with a brown and white Striped Cotton Shirt and a wool tie (all Ralph Lauren Purple Label). Elegance exemplified.
Ncuti Gatwa

We bet you’re as excited as we are for Sex Education to return to our Netflix home pages this September: but in the meantime, we can do our best to emulate the suave elegance of one of the show’s leading stars. Ncuti Gatwa was the epitome of sophistication, dressed head to stylish toe in Polo Ralph Lauren. His Seersucker Suit was just the thing for a (chilly) summer’s day, paired as it was with a dress shirt, silk tie and elegant suede leather loafers.
Archie Renaux

Wimbledon is all about tradition. The strawberries are tradition; paying a visit to Murray Mound is tradition; sipping champagne all day long is definitely tradition. And Archie Renaux paid homage to the traditional splendour of the centuries-old event with a sophisticated, classic look.
We’ve got Polo Ralph Lauren to thank again for this timeless aesthetic: the Shadow and Bone star sported the brand’s RL67 Houndstooth Tweed Jacket with more than a little panache, as he did the striped silk tie, navy chinos and the (aptly named) Classic Oxford shirt. A traditional look, indeed.
Jonathan Bailey
Is there anything more debonair than a three-piece suit? We don’t think so; and Jonathan Bailey apparently doesn’t, either. Bailey looked as dapper as can be, in a Polo Ralph Lauren Tan Herringbone Suit; his polka-dot adorned navy silk tie and roguish white pocket square (courtesy of Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren, respectively) lending the perfect finishing touches to an ensemble that suited the Bridgerton star down to the ground (or should that be tennis court?).
