Works of art: Glen Scotia No.1 ‘First Water’
Last year, Glen Scotia partnered with Scottish artist, Alice Angus, who visited the distillery and surrounding Campbeltown over a number of months to create four paintings entitled ‘Spirit Safe’. To celebrate her unique artwork, Glen Scotia selected remnants of a distinguished, unpeated 30-year-old single malt, matured in European oak casks and taste tested by Alice and Iain McAlister to release 120 limited edition bottles bearing one of Alice’s four paintings.
Bid up: Film programme for Octopussy signed by Sir Roger Moore at Bonhams
This October, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his inaugural appearance as James Bond, Bonhams will be hosting a 180-lot auction showcasing Sir Roger Moore’s own personal collection of Bond memorabilia, collectables and ephemera. This 22.5cm x 30.5cm 16-page promotional programme for the 1983 James Bond film, contains colour and black & white film stills and photos of the principal cast, including cast and crew credits and the front cover, signed by Roger Moore in black ink. The guide price is £1000 – £1500.
