In fact, their 15 Year Old, which boasts heavy caramel, vanilla and oak aromas, in addition to a warm butterscotch and baking spice finish, clocked 97 points from Wine Enthusiast; making it one of the highest-rated rye whiskeys of all time (and a GJ favourite).
Chelsea Peers Organic Cotton Joggers
Sweatpants are a stalwart of fall fashion, whether you’re Rocky, pounding up the steps of The Philadelphia Museum of Art, or an under-the-weather Billy Crystal in that one scene in When Harry Met Sally. Montblanc Extreme 3.0 Backpack
Capacious (but not ludicrously) and adaptable, Montblanc’s new Extreme 3.0 Backpack with M LOCK 4810 buckle is a nod to the brand’s alpine namesake and the mountain climbing world. Part of Montblanc’s 100 Years of Meisterstück campaign – one that included a short film written, directed and starring award-winning director and screenwriter Wes Anderson – this take-you-anywhere pack wouldn’t look out of place in the luxurious suites of the Grand Budapest Hotel, inside the cramped but quaint compartments of the Darjeeling Limited or on the salty deck of the Belafonte. (Bill Murray not included, sadly).
Perfumer H SADDLE Eau de Parfum
As the name might suggest, SADDLE, the latest release from the London based Perfumer H, evokes the tactility and warmth of worn saddle leather. With top notes of Italian bergamot, petitgrain, jasmine and orange, perfumer Lyn Harris (who founded the brand in 2015) has created an intricate and complex scent to take you through autumn, winter, and beyond.
Longines Legend Diver
Celebrating its 65th anniversary this year, the Longines Legend Diver (which was originally designed for underwater exploration) is equally as eye-catching on dry land as it is combing the reefs. To celebrate this milestone, Longines has expanded the Legend Diver collection to feature new dials in green, terracotta anthracite grey. Staying true to its heritage, the new additions still boast up to 300m water resistance and the 39mm case pairs perfectly with a suit (both wet and lounge).
Cheaney Britannia Chelsea Boot
The product of a quintessentially British collaboration between renowned shoemaker Joseph Cheaney & Sons, reliable bike manufacturer Brompton Bicycles and the always-cool Bremont Watch Company, one can be sure the Britannia Chelsea Boot has been created with the craft and care that only comes with over 200 years of combined experience. Part of the brands’ Makers Series, the Britannia sports understated contrast stitching and a Goodyear Welted rubber sole, making it perfect for autumnal escapades.
Hackett Button-up Bomber Jacket
Though revered for its military roots and hugging the backs of too many style icons to name, the bomber jacket’s simple strength as an essential garment for transitional seasons cannot be overlooked.
