Electrifying an icon: Wiesmann Project Thunderball
Revealed at Salon Prive last week, this is the world’s first all-electric convertible sports car, with a target range of 500km. Power comes from twin electric rear-mid mounted motors, delivering up to 500kW (680hp) to the rear wheels and 1100 Nm of torque, resulting in a 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint acceleration time of 2.9 seconds. Crafted from advanced carbon fibre, its remarkable agility and handling make it more than worthy of the Wiesmann badge.
Soft touch: Connolly Dark Denim Blouson Jacket
Founded in 1878 as a small saddler and shoe-smith, Connolly evolved to become a globally renowned supplier of fine leather for the automotive industry, and its collections still draw inspiration from classic motor racing. Designed in England but made in Italy, its new Dark Denim Blouson Jacket is crafted from soft cotton with an elasticated waistband and cuffs finished with Connolly horn buttons.
Coming of age: GlenDronach Parliament 21-year-old
Located in the East Highland Hills of Aberdeenshire, GlenDronach Distillery was founded in 1826 on an estate dating back to 1771. Matured in both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years, its ‘Parliament’ whiskey continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit-laden intensity in its single malts.

Indeed, with its carbon fibre construction and twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine the 750S is the lightest and most powerful series-production McLaren ever.
Rocking it: Rock Angel Rosé
Described as ‘Whispering Angel’ in a leather jacket, Rock Angel has a more complex and structured taste profile than Whispering Angel, making it a more sophisticated – and edgier – choice. The grapes are grown at the Chateau d’Esclans vineyards in the Cotes de Provence region and consist of Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino). If you like Sancerre, you’ll love this.
In full flight: IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Top Gun Oceana
IWC has manufactured pilot’s watches since 1936. Taking inspiration from the Navy blue overall worn by pilots, this new chronograph combines a blue ceramic case with a blue dial and a matching blue rubber strap with a denim finish textile inlay. Notoriously difficult to accomplish, coloured ceramics result from a sophisticated manufacturing process mixing zirconium oxide and other metallic oxides.
