As the summer season never really took off, and with the colder, greyer months on the doorstep, we’re probably safe to assume that spirits are fairly low right now. There is, of course, autumn foliage to look forward to, the opportunity to wear layers once again, and festive cheer is in somewhat sight – however, that will all come in due course.

Pre-made cocktails are the stuff of dreams when weary autumn evenings render you too fatigued to bring out the shaker. Edmunds, a leader in the field, is offering twelve of its 100ml bottled cocktails, including a Passion Fruit Martini, Amaretto Sour, and Kumquat Margarita.

Known for its elegant, reliable glassware, Riedel purveys this set, which comprises four Veritas Riesling glasses – ideal, it is said, for balancing ‘the high acidity and residual sugar of fruit-forward white wines’ – and a Mosel Decanter, a versatile, unfussy piece that’s great for oenophiles, novices and those in between.

Here, we have the flagship rosé from Château La Coste, the beloved estate known for its winemaking, upscale hotel (Villa La Coste), and comprehensive art programme. The bottle draws from fruit grown on the grounds – produced both organically and biodynamically – resulting in a nose featuring citrus, pear and peach.

Eto has long been celebrated for its wine decanter whose key feature is a preservation design that seals wine from air, therefore slowing oxidation, and preserving the flavour within. The pair on offer is in gold (with a mirror finish), features borosilicate glass, and its sharp spout provides drip-free pouring.

The backbone of any respectable kitchen, professional or domestic, Victorinox designs are prosaic, durable and fuss-free. The Knife Block (which features a Chef’s Knife; Santoku; and Bread Knife) has a refined feel with its use of beech wood; the Carving Set, meanwhile, is a Sunday-roast essential.

Louis Roederer has been a lodestar of the Champagne industry for more than two centuries – have a taste of the illustrious history with Collection 244, the houses’s singular multi-vintage blend that’s made by ‘working hand in hand with nature to create the finest Champagne possible’ and is known for its balance.

Though summer – and thus festival season – has come to its conclusion, there’s still no reason not to be carting around libations from location to location, especially with at-home gatherings on the horizon. Fieldbar’s hardcase coolers are robust, discreet, come in a range of retro-style hues, and they keep everything at a desirable temperature – the ‘50 hours “Champagne cold” ice performance’ bodes well for the Louis Roederer. Rarer than manuka, there are just 888 jars made, and this one is presented in a custom-made vessel that’s inlaid with 22k gold, is topped with a timber lid, and is presented with a handmade glass dipper.

Bang in the heart of Belgravia, The Hari is a bolthole that’s made a name for its personable, intimate and private feel. Included here is a one-night stay, for two guests, in a King Superior Room. To pad out the evening, there will be a pre-dinner cocktail in The Hari Bar, followed by a three-course dinner at il Pampero, including the sommelier’s choice of wine. Breakfast, the following morning, will help you refuel after a revelrous night.

Ideal for special dos or, simply, when decompressing in front of the flatscreen with some Netflix, Britain’s premier chocolatier has curated a comprehensive box that has stacked trays, all of which reveal rich layers of chocolates and truffles.
