In the pink: We drank 8 celebrity rosés, so you don’t have to
The latest star status symbol has yielded some suprisingly brilliant wines
It seems like every man and his dog has their own rosé these days. (Note to self: investigate rosé for dogs.) Something to do with the crossover success of Whispering Angel, I’m told, or the aesthetic appeal of pale pink on an Instagram feed, or the thumb-twiddling effects of 2020-at-large. But wherever you look, they’re there, aren’t they: white-teeth flashing, perma-poolside thrashing, pink wine-splashing founder-CEOs — podcasting that ripe-peach-with-good-minerality-and-a-pleasing-citrus-finish plonk into your beading glass, and waltzing all the way to the bank. But are any of their wines any good? We drank eight of them to find out.
