It was back in 2014 that Land Rover first locked, loaded and joined forces with British gunmakers Holland & Holland. The carmaker’s Special Vehicle Operations division took a Range Rover and added sustainably-sourced French walnut veneers, fascia letterbox panels and Holland & Holland badging — creating a four-wheeled tribute to both Royal Warranted brands.
In 2016, the gunmaker reloaded its partnership with Land Rover. The second collaboration featured custom commissioned plaques and inlays, lockable leather trimmed gun cases and a signature green exterior. Four years later, and both British brands are taking another shot at it — as it were.
The latest Holland & Holland Range Rover offers customers the chance to create their own unique shoot-ready vehicle. Working with the Vehicle Personalisation team, there are more bespoke, truly unique features on this third edition than the last two combined.
Inside the cabin, for instance, you’ll find badging on the B-pillars, bespoke etched handles on the inside of the doors and specially etched metalwork both below the gear selector and above the gearbox. There’s even specially created interior treadplates and a Holland & Holland motif on the headrests.
There’s even the chance to pair these exclusive elements with fully bespoke exterior colours and finishes, ensuring your car will blend into the landscape — whether you’re shooting in Wiltshire or Wemmergill.
And these trims and touches can be specified with several of Land Rover’s Range Rover range, including the Autobiography, Autobiography Long Wheelbase, SVAutobiography Dynamic and SVAutobiography Long Wheelbase.
That also means there are five different engines options for your shooting SUV — including the 565PS 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged on SV derivatives — which will power it into new leagues of double-barrelled, fully-loaded, live-firing 4x4s.
