They also like throwing adventure parties in some of the most stunning and remote locations on the planet, most recently, the Sahara desert.
Beyond is series of once-in-a-lifetime experiences where adventure meets music.
Gentleman’s Journal were lucky enough to get the invite and they certainly did not disappoint.
Landing in Marrakesh we were met by the slap of the humidity and the excitement of the market, lead through a maze of Riads we arrived to a charming mosaic swimming pool and extremely sweet mint tea. The evening involved an authentic Moroccan banquet of lamb and chicken tagines, cous cous, an array of unknown side dishes, and…..belly dancers.
Come morning, there was no time to be hanging around. The Land Rovers were waiting for our l2 hour journey into the desert and through the windy mountains that climb so high that your ears begun to pop.

Lunch was enjoyed at the incredible Ait Benhaddou overlooking the beautiful Unesco world heritage site from Ridley Scott’s Gladiator, and Game Of Thrones. The evening was spent at the magical Xaluca Erfoud hotel surrounded by palm trees and pool-side cocktails.
The following day was impossible to forget; we became a part of a two hundred camel convoy deep into the Sahara Desert against the backdrop of sand dunes as far as the eye can see.
The campsite where we stayed wasn’t a campsite as you might assume, it really was extraordinary. We’re talking a personal room with double bed, running water, functional toilet facilities, DJ booth, full stocked cocktail bar and restaurant.
The following days included a great host of activities, yoga at sunrise with Frame, partying throughout the afternoon with Love Brunch and ByDayByNight, Disco Dodgeball, a slip & slide and to calm it all down, meditation in the evenings overlooking the breathtaking Sahara sunset.
A special mention has to go to the great guys running the never-ending cocktail bar, Mix & Muddled, Richard the owner without sleep kept the weekend afloat with a host of Sahara inspired cocktails.
Overall, this was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience, on returning to London it almost feels as though it was all a dream.
Beyond Sahara was spent amongst great people with a hunger for adventure and is something we couldn’t recommend more.
